kingchemistry asked: In response to the previous question: Assuming you are in college, I would say you should hang around the school library, read some books, study for classes, and keep an eye out for other people who's lives gravitate around books and the library. You'll probably find a secret introvert friend-group hiding amongst the books!

mpreg-tony asked: As far as making friends goes... My usual method is that I'd just feel comfortable around a certain person enough to talk to them, or they'd say something interesting. I met my best friend because she had a Harry Potter lunch box. It was a conversation starter, but there was also just this sense about her that made me feel comfortable.

terriblevana asked: I need suggestions on how to actually make friends. I've moved to another city for school and I've been here a little over a month. I've put myself in a totally different situation than what I am used to and I have yet to make a single friend! My roommates are nice enough, but I feel like they have more in common with each other and I have no idea what I am doing here now besides...

mpreg-tony asked: I got sent to the school psychologist in 7th grade by my mom because I didn't have any friends. We'd moved to a new city about a year ago and I just hadn't really clicked with anyone yet. My mom was worried I was depressed. The psychologist discovered I was just fine.

southerngaelic-deactivated20120 asked: My mother thought I was retarded growing up, because I didn't like talking, wouldn't go to parties and preferred being in my room. If I'd known then that being a quiet person wasn't so abnormal, I wouldn't have let it affect me the way it did. A lot of grief could have been avoided if we'd both had more knowledge about my introvert nature.
